YoY and QoQ growth calculator
Calculate year-on-year (YoY) or quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) percentage change between two figures, and see when a percentage is not meaningful.
How it works
Change (%) = (Latest − Earlier) ÷ Earlier × 100, shown only when the earlier figure is positive.
Assumptions
- Both figures must measure the same thing over comparable periods, in the same units.
- A large percentage on a very small base says little on its own; look at the absolute change too.
