HDFC Life Insurance reported a standalone net profit of ₹508 crore for July to September 2026, up 13.6% from ₹447 crore a year earlier. Net premium income was ₹21,727 crore; reports give two different year-earlier figures, so the rise is 15.1% or 15.7%.
IPO SEBI proposes cutting the minimum SME IPO application from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 1 lakh; comments open till 4 November 2026

BHEL reported a consolidated net profit of ₹820.94 crore for July to September 2026, against ₹374.89 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations was ₹9,300.35 crore, up 23.8%.
Results decoder Canara Bank Q2 profit rises 8.4% to ₹5,175 crore; total business passes ₹30 lakh crore
Canara Bank reported a standalone net profit of ₹5,175 crore for July to September 2026, up 8.4% from ₹4,774 crore a year earlier. Its deposits plus loans stood at about ₹30.7 lakh crore on 30 September 2026.

Results decoder Tata Elxsi Q2 net profit rises 10% to ₹170.3 crore; revenue up 15% to ₹1,055.7 crore
Tata Elxsi reported net profit of ₹170.30 crore for July to September 2026, against ₹154.82 crore a year earlier, on revenue from operations of ₹1,055.66 crore, up 15.0%. The results filing does not announce a dividend.
Personal finance UPI merchant charge on payments above ₹2,000 will not start on 15 October; NPCI defers it until after Diwali
NPCI said on 13 October 2026 that the merchant discount rate on some UPI payments to shops above ₹2,000, due from 15 October, will start just after Diwali on a date to be announced, according to reports. Customers are not charged under the framework.
