CAGR calculator
Calculate compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from a starting value, an ending value and the number of years. Useful for revenue, profit, prices or any figure that changes over time.
How it works
CAGR = (Ending value ÷ Starting value)^(1 ÷ years) − 1
Assumptions
- Only the start and end points matter. Ups and downs in between are ignored, and no cash flows (such as extra deposits or dividends) are included.
- Use the same measure at both ends, for example revenue at the start and revenue at the end.
