Compound interest calculator
Calculate how a one-time amount grows with yearly compounding at a rate you choose, such as a fixed deposit. Arithmetic illustration, not a forecast.
How it works
Value = Amount × (1 + rate ÷ 100)^years
Assumptions
- Compounded once a year at a constant rate. Banks often compound quarterly, which gives a slightly higher figure for the same stated rate.
- Tax and inflation are not deducted. The rate is what you type in; nothing here predicts a return.
