Basis of these figures

All figures and dates are from the RBI press release 2026-2027/1329 dated 14 October 2026, which was read directly on the RBI website. The release does not say how many units remain outstanding, how a holder places a redemption request, or the cut-off for doing so, so this article does not cover them. Holders should check the procedure with the bank, post office or agent through which they hold the bond. This article reports the notified price and does not say whether redeeming is advisable.
