- Net profit is the profit left after all expenses, provisions and tax. Standalone means the bank’s own accounts, without subsidiaries.
- Net interest income (NII) is the interest a bank earns on loans and investments minus the interest it pays on deposits and borrowings.
- Operating profit is profit before money is set aside for bad loans and other contingencies.
- Gross NPA (non-performing asset) is a loan on which the borrower has stopped paying on time. The gross NPA ratio is those loans as a share of all loans. Net NPA is the same after subtracting the money the bank has set aside against them.
