Basis of these figures

BHEL’s results filing on BSE and NSE could not be opened for this article. The consolidated net profit, prior-year profit, revenue, total income, expenses and segment revenue are attributed to the Free Press Journal, HDFC Sky (PTI) and Indian PSU reports of 14 and 15 October 2026, which agree with one another. Earnings per share, half-year profit, and the segment figures also agree with an INDmoney analysis. Previous-quarter profit before tax, half-year revenue and profit before tax come from the Free Press Journal report only. The reports did not carry standalone figures or management comments. HDFC Sky gives a different last-digit figure for total income a year earlier (₹7,686.11 crore); this article uses ₹7,686.41 crore, as in the other two reports and in Kotak Neo’s page for the September 2025 quarter. Percentage changes are arithmetic on the reported figures.
