Bajaj Finance, a large non-banking lender (a lender that is not a bank), reported a consolidated net profit of ₹6,367 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026. That quarter, July to September, is the second of the financial year 2026-27, or Q2 FY27. The profit is 28.7% more than the ₹4,948 crore it reported for the same quarter a year earlier. Its net interest income, the interest it earned on loans minus the interest it paid on its borrowings, rose 23.6% to ₹13,335 crore. These figures are as reported by news outlets citing the company’s filing.

Key terms

  • Net profit is the profit left after all expenses, provisions and tax. Consolidated includes the company’s subsidiaries; standalone is the company’s own accounts only.
  • Net interest income (NII) is interest earned minus interest paid.
  • Assets under management (AUM) is the total value of loans the company manages. One lakh crore is ₹1,00,000 crore.
  • Gross NPA is the share of loans on which borrowers have stopped paying on time (a non-performing asset). Net NPA is that share after subtracting the money set aside against those loans.

Basis of these figures

The results filing on BSE and NSE and the company’s investor release could not be opened for this article, so every figure is attributed to news reports of 19-20 October 2026 (APAC Media, Lapaas Voice, Upstox, Equitybulls and Kalkine). The consolidated profit, NII, new loans, customers and NPA figures agree across the reports that give them; consolidated and standalone profit and provisions also match the line-by-line statements reported by Equitybulls and Kalkine. The AUM of ₹5,84,624 crore and the ₹337 crore provision detail are from APAC Media only (other reports give AUM as ₹5.85 lakh crore). Percentage changes in the table are this site’s arithmetic.
